David Thomas Cooke

I don’t really know where to start. Dave has been a part of my life for so many years. He was my teacher throughout sixth form, my NQT mentor when I started at Hall Cross, my colleague for years, and my friend ever since. I have so many wonderful memories of him. His passion and enthusiasm for teaching, and his compassion for the students, is something I will never forget. That and his infectious laugh!

Ultimately, he is one of the main reasons I became a teacher. He was an inspiration. He made his students feel like they were the most important people in the world. And he always had time for you, no matter what was going on.

I’m going to miss him very much.ood thing. He will not be forgotten by all who knew him, and certainly not me.
