Dave, what a fabulous guy, colleague and friend from our time teaching at Hall Cross to more recent group meetings over a pint. I know this will all be said time and again but I must repeat that he was the one of the finest human beings I have met and had the privilege of spending time with. A lovely man who was an excellent teacher, student mentor and friend. Look no further than any students comments about how highly they thought of him, if any confirmation were needed of his empathetic character. He always added wit and a well informed knowledge to our conversations.
