Sad to hear of Dave’s passing. I always found him to be a gentleman and someone who put his students first. I would meet with him from time to time as part of line management and he always was open to discussion and a lateral thinker. I enjoyed visiting his lessons and it was obvious that the students valued his knowledge and the work that he did on their behalf. He was well respected by his colleagues.
